| Wow, it has been a LONG time since I have written on here... life is going very well... I am LOVING my job at the Rush. It presents many oppertunities to talk to people about Christ being at JBC for so long made me forget how many people really just aren't Christians and don't know ANYTHING about it!! I really thought that most people at least had an understanding of Christianity around here but there are SO MANY people that have no idea. It is amazing to have the chance to talk to them and hear about their lives, their problems and insecurities. I am so thankful that Christ is the center of my life. It is so hard not having close christian friends around though. I think i am going to try and get involved in a young adults group at a bigger church in knoxville or something because I am often finding myself getting dragged down since the only times most of my friends here go out is to get drunk and find guys / girls. I have made a good friend at the gym, her name is Amanda and she has done a lot of missions work. She is FAB and going to Israel here in a couple of weeks! Her boyfriend is also amazing, he works at Eagle Rock camp which was started by his parents (I believe). His best friend also works there as the programming director (Jonah) he is extremely wonderful and talking to him reminds me of the amazing Godly men I got to spend time with while I was at JBC. Being around them this weekend reminded me of the promise I made to myself and to God not to settle but to wait for the right person to come along - and if he doesn't, that's ok too because my life is being safely held in God's hands!! Yep, life is good :) God is good!! :) I believe that God has me where He needs me and will continue to use me and guide me as I listen. | | |
| ok, here's an update on the O's, since I am sure all of you have heard what happened this weekend with their wedding. They are driving back to VA today and are staying in a hotel tonight. Josh got released from the hospital yesturday and they are happily married dispite the disasterous weekend!! | | |
| Hey everyone!! I am currently at Rainbow Christian Camp (most blessed of all camps since there is INTERNET!!! YAY!!!) It is a really good week so far, JBC people include (and are not limited to) Charlie, Priest, Ben Hayes, Alison Scott...and others. It is nice to be around JBC people for a week! Michal Ruth came to see me last week - yep, I cried like a little baby when I saw her walk in. She is such an encouragement to me and I love her SO MUCH! Please be in prayer for her as she continues to raise support.
Things are going really well. I can't believe there are only 3 more weeks of the summer left!! Crazy! Next week we will be at Illiana then Oilbelt then we finish off at Rudolph in VA (with TAYLOR!)
I am so glad that I am traveling this summer...it has been really good for me to be out doing practical ministry. God has shown me a lot about myself and taught me many lessons which has been hard but also really good.
God is an amazing provider and supplies for my every need with each day of life.
I am praying that you are all doing well and having incredible summers also!! Love y'all!! | | |

We head out Sunday for our next camp. The past two weeks have been WAY better than I could have expected. Everything is going well, and all the people we have met up with have been great. I have had the oppertunity to catch up with old friends too which has been a blessing :)
All the campers have been wonderful, the camps have been run well and our team is doing great :) I love them all a lot! I am so glad that I get to be with them all summer :)
I don't know if our schedule is up yet or not, but if you find it somewhere SEND ME MAIL :)
Love you all!!!!! | | |

I have to say, things with the team are better than I could have expected. We all get along really well, our talents seem to compliment each others well and our program was really pretty decent!! I hope we get to run into lots of you on the road, it will be an encouragement to us if we get to see familiar faces. LOVE YOU ALL!!!! :)
